Important Information
What all customers need to know when traveling on Hawaii Superferry:
- Read the list of restricted items that cannot be transported.
- If you're traveling with a vehicle, we recommend you arrive at the port at least 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. For walk-on passengers, we recommend you arrive at least 60 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time. Entrance to the terminal will promptly close 30 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. You will be denied boarding if you arrive after the entrances are closed.
- A government-issued photo ID is required for all passengers 18 years of age and over, and all unaccompanied minors.
- Follow theagriculture rules if you are bringing plants or animals.
- For your safety, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes suitable for walking.
High heels or open toe shoes are not recommended.
- All strollers must be placed on the luggage cart or inside your vehicle. No strollers are permitted on the passenger deck for safety reasons.
- Advice for motion sickness: Do not skip eating, but avoid spicy or greasy foods; sip water or ginger ale; stand and look at a fixed point on the horizon; avoid reading; avoid alcohol and coffee.
-
We highly recommend you take your preferred motion sickness remedy well in advance of the voyage. Preferably more than an hour before boarding. Taking a remedy after you start to feel ill may not help.
